Germans spent 14.9m euros on online DVD rental in 2005, according to Screen Digest figures, making it the second largest online DVD rental market in Europe behind the UK.
When LOVEFiLM were planning their entry to the German DVD rental market they turned to IDE Group's DVD rental system to power their business.
LOVEFiLM International Ltd is one of the most respected British rental companies which provides online DVD rental services in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and now Germany.
The move was intended to grow LOVEFiLM 's total subscriber base which, according to the company, stand at around 425,000 subscribers before expansion. It also expanded the company's reach into 'continental Europe'.
Our Solution
IDE Group provided its online DVD Rental solution and best technical experience to help LOVEFiLM to reach its business goals. The website is performed in German language thanks to IDE DRS multilingual platform. Besides the software our team implemented LoveFilm's brand design, complex online credit cards processing solution, requested specific functionality and launched the website in over an 8 week period agreement of terms.

Results
LOVEFiLM business is now growing rapidly. In four years Lovefilm has amassed nearly 500,000 subscribers. It generates more than five million postal transactions each month.

It was estimated that the online DVD and games rental market in Ireland is worth €35m a year.
Two young entrepreneurs, brothers Iain and Gavin McConnon wished to use this opportunity and have ploughed into an online movie rental store (MovieStar.ie) that they believed could shake up the Irish DVD rental market.
Our Solution
Iain and Gavin contacted IDE Group as a software provider. During the communication with the customers we worked out not only suitable software solution for them but also, being experienced in online DVD rental business assisted with business consultations. Our specialists provided consultations on what is needed to start an online DVD rental business, initial choice of catalogues titles, suppliers of DVDs, envelopes, hardware, and tips on how to manage online DVD rental business.
We worked closely with MovieStar for their business launch – after software installation we interacted with Moviestar’s designer to implement Moviestar brand design, helped to implement online credit cards processing solution, provided further training to educate their staff to operate with the website and still cooperate with Moviestar, improving their customer experience.
Moviestar also implemented our WAP DRS solution to give access their site from anywhere in the world on subscriber mobiles and in the future they plan to add Video on Demand service based on our Streaming Media solution to introduce their clients to new convenient services of watching videos online or download content directly from their website.

As a result in the 10 weeks after the website launch Moviestar.ie has grabbed the Golden Spider Award for ‘Best Website Launched in 2006’ at Golden Spider Awards – the Oscars of the Irish Internet Industry. By that date, MovieStar.ie site has had over 5 million hits, and over 7,500 registered users and now the amount of registered subscribers reach over 15,000.

Asia population in the USA made up about 5% of the U.S.'s population (301,139,947 (July 2007 est.) , so Tigercinema wanted to win this auditory and be the leader in the niche market segment.
Solution
